Plague has swept the earth ,
scientists said" flea-bearing rats that transfer the disease to humans
,must be exterminated".
The rats were exterminated but fleas are still living off other animals & destitute men.
The flea-bearing animals & men were exterminated, anyhow the number of animals exterminated were not great after all as they were about to be extinct, yet plague spread and the planet earth became empty and clean of men once more.
And the creatures that replaced humans and roam the earth never knew if it was the plague which ended mankind or if they were plague itself.
